Four trolleybus lines were rerouted to bypass the closed section. Route 22k now runs between Cadet Hill and the Industrial Overpass; Route 27 operates from Kyiv‑Volynskyi Station to the Industrial Overpass; Route 30 travels between Myoslavska Street and Dehtyarivska Street; and Route 42 connects Dehtyarivska Street with Pochaina metro station, with reverse service from Lybidska metro station to the Industrial Overpass.
Emergency crews are assessing the site, but officials have not disclosed the weapon used or the full extent of damage. Residents are advised to follow updated transit schedules and avoid the cordoned area.
The overnight assault continues a pattern of Russian missile and drone strikes targeting Kyiv’s energy and transport infrastructure since the full‑scale invasion began in February 2022. In recent weeks, strikes have hit Obolonsky, Dniprovsky, Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts, causing injuries, fires and widespread service disruptions.
KMDA urged commuters to monitor official channels for real‑time route changes and restoration timelines, noting that no reopening date for Vadym Hetman Street has been set.
