Ukrainian volunteer project Victory Drones and drone manufacturer F-Drones have opened a three-week intensive engineering course in Kyiv for military personnel, offering a new military occupational specialty upon completion.
Victory Drones, founded by Maria Berlinskaya, and F-Drones, a Ukrainian drone manufacturer, have jointly launched an engineering training program for military personnel on unmanned aerial vehicle operation and maintenance. The three-week offline intensive in Kyiv covers FPV architecture, soldering, power systems, radio communications, antennas, video signals, flight controller software (Betaflight, ArduPilot), optical stabilization boards, logging, PID tuning, 3D printing, diagnostics, repair, and extensive field practice.
Graduates will receive a new military occupational specialty (VOS). Admission requires prior completion of an online engineering course and passing an entrance test; details are provided after registration via the program’s link.
Victory Drones is an educational volunteer initiative that trains both military and civilians in drone operations and defense technologies. F-Drones produces modern Ukrainian drones, including the FPV series F5, F7, and F10, the Shahed interceptor LITAVR+, and the middle-strike complex F-CAPTAIN.
The program reflects Ukraine’s ongoing effort to integrate domestic drone technology into its defense capabilities, leveraging volunteer expertise and private-sector production to accelerate frontline readiness.
