Russian Overnight Strikes Hit Kyiv, Kyiv Region, Dnipro, and Odesa Checkpoint, Causing Fires and Casualties

Russian forces launched coordinated overnight strikes across multiple Ukrainian regions early Thursday, hitting Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast, Dnipro, and a border checkpoint in Odesa Oblast, causing fires, infrastructure damage, and casualties.

In the capital and surrounding region, strikes ignited fires at a food-processing enterprise in Bila Tserkva and damaged a non-residential building, a garage, and several trucks in Kyiv. Emergency services extinguished all blazes by morning with no reported casualties.

In Dnipro, a separate strike set fire to a warehouse storing building materials and a private house. Rescuers extracted three people from the basement of the damaged home.

Further south, Russian troops attacked the Starokazache checkpoint on the Moldova-Ukraine border in Odesa Oblast, killing two people and injuring three, forcing temporary closure of the crossing.

The coordinated strikes represent a continuation of Russia's campaign targeting civilian infrastructure and border facilities across multiple Ukrainian regions.
