An enemy attack on Kyiv left two civilians dead and 10 wounded, with firefighters still battling blazes in non-residential buildings and a grass-cover fire across Holosiivskyi, Podilskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.

An enemy attack on Kyiv has killed two civilians and injured 10, as emergency crews respond to fires and damage across several of the capital's districts.

Firefighters are continuing to battle blazes in non-residential buildings at multiple addresses in the Holosiivskyi and Podilskyi districts. In the Dniprovskyi district, a grass-cover fire covering about 50 square meters that broke out due to shelling has been localized.

The casualty toll follows a string of recent strikes on the capital. On 8 September, an enemy attack on Kyiv injured at least six people and rescuers saved 13 others from damaged buildings across at least five districts. In late August, falling debris in Podilskyi damaged a kindergarten and a non-residential building and wounded three people.

Officials did not identify those killed or injured, specify the weapon used, or give exact strike locations beyond the affected districts. Emergency services remain on the scene as rescue and damage assessment continue.
