Overnight Drone Attack Sparks Fires Across Four Kyiv Districts, Four Injured

Kyiv Mayor reported early today that an overnight enemy attack caused damage and fires across four districts of the capital. In Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out near warehouse buildings but was quickly extinguished. On Obolon, debris fell near a residential building, shattering windows without causing a fire or structural collapse. In Solomianskyi district, a downed unmanned aerial vehicle set the roof of an office building ablaze; that fire has been put out. However, State Emergency Service crews continue to work at a five‑story residential building where a fire persists and a search‑and‑rescue operation is underway. Four injured people have been found there. In Sviatoshynskyi district, UAV debris landed on the grounds of a shopping mall, igniting and damaging one store; the fire was also extinguished.

The strike continues a wave of Russian drone attacks on Kyiv in recent weeks, which have repeatedly hit civilian infrastructure and caused casualties across multiple neighborhoods.
