Ukrainian Developers Launch Safety App for Refugees in Poland

Ukrainian developers have launched Track Me, a mobile application designed to enhance personal safety for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, particularly women who report growing vulnerability in daily situations.

The release comes amid heightened tensions surrounding the Ukrainian diaspora in Poland. Many women describe feeling unsafe when returning home after dark, using ride-hailing services, or navigating unfamiliar neighborhoods alone.

Track Me allows users to share real-time geolocation with selected contacts — partners, friends, or family — and to establish geofenced zones that notify trusted individuals of movements. Its core feature is an SOS button that instantly transmits the user's precise location to designated recipients, enabling rapid response.
