A large-scale fire erupted at a grain drying plant in Osiennica, Radziejów County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, on September 18, causing ten gas tanks to explode and injuring two people.

A massive fire broke out at a grain drying facility in Osiennica, Radziejów County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, northern Poland, on Friday, September 18, triggering explosions of ten gas storage tanks and injuring two people.

According to Polish news outlet RMF24, the blaze erupted at the industrial site, and during firefighting operations, ten gas reservoirs detonated. The facility housed twelve gas tanks in total: ten with a capacity of 6,000 liters each and two holding 4,800 liters each.

Two individuals were injured in the incident. One person sustained burns, while the other remained conscious and received medical attention at the scene. Emergency services responded to contain the fire and secure the remaining tanks.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Authorities have not released further details on the extent of property damage or the timeline for resuming operations at the facility.
