A former Russian soldier who fought in the Kremlin’s “special military operation” attacked a Ukrainian teenager in Krakow, but the boy’s father — a mixed martial arts master — intervened, leaving the assailant with broken ribs, according to video posted online.
A former Russian soldier who took part in the Kremlin’s “special military operation” attacked a Ukrainian teenager in Krakow after discovering the boy’s nationality, according to video footage posted by the channel General Dopovida.
The assailant, identified only as a veteran of the SVO, knocked the teen to the ground and began a brutal beating.
About an hour later the boy’s father, a master of sport in mixed martial arts, located the attacker and restrained him, leaving him with broken ribs; the video shows the man on the pavement pleading for forgiveness.
The incident follows a series of recent violent attacks against Ukrainians in Poland, including group assaults and hate‑crime reports, while Polish authorities have not yet issued a statement on possible charges.
General Dopovida, which regularly publishes front‑line material and commands a sizable Russian‑language audience, shared the clip, drawing widespread attention on social media. The footage was handed to the channel by the teenager’s father.
