Tusk said Moscow is gearing up for a new round of escalation both in its war against Ukraine and across the wider region. He noted that autumn and winter could become pivotal periods for Russia, and that recent weeks had produced numerous public signals of preparations for escalation.
The Polish leader's warning reflects Warsaw's long-standing position that Ukraine's security is inseparable from Europe's. Poland, a frontline NATO and European Union member, has consistently stressed that any escalation against Ukraine affects broader regional stability.
