Poland's Ministry of Education has published the 2026/2027 school-year schedule, outlining winter, Christmas, and Easter breaks as well as key long weekends.
Poland's Ministry of Education has released the 2026/2027 school calendar, giving families the dates for breaks and long weekends to plan travel and rest. Most pupils will finish the year on 25 June 2027.
The Christmas-New Year break runs from 23 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, giving 12 consecutive days including weekends. Epiphany (Trzech Króli) on 6 January is a public holiday. If schools add 4-5 January as director's days, the break can stretch to 15 days. The Easter break runs from 25 to 30 March 2027 (six days without classes).
Winter holidays (ferie zimowe) are staggered by voivodeship. From 18 to 31 January: Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Lower Silesian, Łódź, Opole, and Silesian. From 1 to 14 February: Masovian, Pomeranian, Świętokrzyskie, and Lublin. From 15 to 28 February: Lubusz, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Warmian-Masurian, Greater Poland, West Pomeranian, and Lesser Poland.
Constitution Day on 3 May is a public holiday. During secondary-school finals (4-6 May) and the eighth-grade exam (10-12 May), younger pupils may face schedule changes or cancelled classes. Corpus Christi (Boże Ciało) falls on 27 May 2027, a Thursday; with an extra Friday off it creates a four-day mini-break from 27 to 30 May.
