Warsaw would disappear in two to three days if military action taken against Moscow, says Putin aide Patrushev

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev warned that Warsaw would cease to exist within two to three days should military action be directed against Moscow.

The statement was a direct response to remarks by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, who suggested that Russia could be swiftly defeated in any armed conflict.

Patrushev dismissed Sikorski’s assessment, saying, “The head of Polish diplomacy Sikorski obviously evaluates Russia’s military strength dilettantishly and does not want to understand that during the special military operation Russia does not employ its full potential.”

Analysts view the language as part of a pattern of escalatory rhetoric from senior Russian officials, intended to underscore Moscow’s deterrent capabilities.

Observers note that such threats aim to intimidate NATO allies and discourage further military support for Ukraine.
