Two killed, at least eight injured in Russian attack on Kyiv, emergency service says

Two people were killed and at least eight injured in a Russian attack on Kyiv, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported. The strikes hit multiple districts of the capital, causing fires and structural damage.

In the Solomianskyi district, warehouse buildings were partially destroyed and a fire spread to basement premises. The blaze was extinguished and three injured people were hospitalized.

In the Podilskyi district, a strike near a maternity hospital ignited a fire in a parking area that destroyed four vehicles. The fire was put out and one body was recovered at the scene.

Elsewhere, a single-story non-residential building caught fire and was extinguished. In the Dniprovskyi district, a three-story administrative building was damaged and one injured person was found. At another address, a private house was completely destroyed; one person was rescued and two neighboring houses sustained damage.

The attack marks the latest in a series of Russian strikes targeting Kyiv’s civilian infrastructure.
