In Obolonsky district, a single‑story warehouse caught fire; emergency crews extinguished the blaze at 23:53 local time. In Dniprovsky district, the facade of a nine‑story residential building burned from the first through fifth floors and a second‑floor apartment also ignited.
Rescue teams evacuated seven people from the damaged structures and handed over another seven to medical staff, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine confirmed. The agency said the casualty count and rescue operations are still being verified.
The strike is the latest in a series of Russian missile and drone attacks on the capital in recent weeks. Ukrainian air defenses have intercepted most incoming projectiles, but debris and occasional direct hits have continued to cause injuries and infrastructure damage across multiple districts.
Authorities have not yet identified the weapons used in the overnight raid. Damage assessments are underway, and the Kyiv City Military Administration urged residents to stay in shelters during air‑raid alerts.
