Social-media blogger Cabrioletka and her fiancé abandoned their Lviv shoot and traveled to Kyiv after locals repeatedly made remarks about their Russian-language video content.

A social-media blogger known as Cabrioletka and her fiancé have left Lviv and vowed not to return after locals repeatedly objected to their use of Russian during a video shoot, according to the report.

The Odesa-based couple had traveled to the western Ukrainian city to film reviews of local establishments in Russian for their social-media channels, which the source described as the "language of the occupier." During the shoot, several people repeatedly made remarks about the Russian-language content, prompting the pair to halt their Lviv plans.

They decided to continue the trip in Kyiv instead. "We will not come to Lviv again," the bloggers said, claiming that local residents "did everything possible to make us want to flee from here."

The episode reflects the sharp social friction over public use of Russian in Ukraine during the full-scale invasion, a language the source report characterized as the "language of the occupier."
