Ukrainian media have released a list of 15 gas stations in Kyiv that Russian forces reportedly designated as targets for destruction. The locations span multiple districts across the capital, though specific addresses were withheld.
The reported targets include one station each in Akademmistechko, Borshchahivka, Teremky, Holosiiv, the Sovky-Demiivka sector, the Pochaina-Kurenivka-Podil sector, Pochaina, the southern Obolon-Pochaina sector, the western Obolon-Priorka sector, Troieshchyna-Voskresenka on Shukhevych Street, near Comfort Town, Berezniaky, Osokorky, and near Chervonyi Khutir. Two stations are listed in Demiivka and two in the Voskresenka-Lisovyi sector.
The channel noted that precise addresses are known but were deliberately withheld from publication. The disclosure implies Russian military planning includes striking civilian fuel assets in the Ukrainian capital, potentially to disrupt logistics, civilian mobility, and emergency services.
Such targeting of energy infrastructure aligns with previous Russian strikes on Ukrainian fuel depots and refineries. Security analysts warn that attacks on gas stations could create humanitarian crises, environmental hazards, and further destabilize urban life amid ongoing missile and drone campaigns.
