Six Civilians Injured as Russian Strikes Hit Six Districts of Kyiv Region

Published Updated

Russian forces attacked six districts of Kyiv Oblast over the past 24 hours, wounding six people and damaging 42 sites, including homes, vehicles, a power line and a retail facility, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Russian forces launched a coordinated series of strikes across six districts of Kyiv Oblast during the past 24 hours, leaving six civilians wounded and damaging 42 locations, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported.

In Bucha district, seven objects were hit, comprising five private homes and two vehicles. Obukhiv district suffered the heaviest toll, with 24 damaged sites: twenty private residences, a power transmission line, a retail facility and two vehicles; one person was injured there. Brovary district recorded five damaged objects, three private homes and two vehicles, with four civilians wounded. No fatalities were reported.

The barrage continues a months‑long pattern of Russian attacks on the capital’s hinterland. In recent weeks, similar missile and drone assaults have repeatedly struck residential neighborhoods and critical infrastructure in Bucha, Obukhiv and Brovary, causing multiple casualties and widespread property damage. Emergency crews are already on the ground assessing the latest destruction and assisting affected residents.

The administration urged the population to take air raid alerts seriously and seek shelter immediately, warning that the campaign targeting civilian areas and power infrastructure shows no sign of abating.
