Three Killed, Eight Injured in Latest Kyiv Region Strikes

Three people were killed and eight injured in Kyiv region over the past 24 hours following Russian attacks, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported. The strikes damaged 21 facilities across five districts, including residential buildings, warehouses, administrative structures, a market, and industrial and agricultural sites, while 13 vehicles were also destroyed or damaged.

The latest toll adds to a sustained campaign of long-range strikes on the oblast surrounding the capital since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022. In recent days, similar assaults have wounded civilians and damaged dozens of sites: earlier this week overnight attacks across six districts injured five people, including two children, and hit 23 locations, while a strike last week killed a child and brought a separate death toll to four with 31 objects damaged.

Emergency services continue to clear debris and mitigate consequences at the impact sites. The administration did not specify the weapons used, exact timing, or the specific districts affected. The pattern of daily assaults underscores the persistent threat to civilian areas beyond the front lines, where air defenses engage incoming projectiles but debris and direct hits continue to cause casualties and destruction.
