Days of Ukrainian Music Festival Opens in Warsaw

The 12th Days of Ukrainian Music festival opens today in Warsaw and runs through September 13. The Polish capital is hosting the annual event’s 12th edition, which features four concerts showcasing a wide spectrum of Ukrainian music, from a solo piano evening to a full symphonic performance by the National Philharmonic of Ukraine orchestra.

Pianist Danilo Saienko kicks off the festival at today’s opening concert. The program also includes performances by the PARTES choir and by Andriy Lashchuk, who will perform traditional Ukrainian dumy on the wheel lyre. A symphony orchestra from Kyiv will close the series with a large-scale orchestral concert.

Admission to today’s opening performance is free of charge. Tickets for the remaining concerts on September 8, 11, and 13 are available in advance through the KupBilecik platform or at the venue box office before each show. All festival events are taking place at the concert venue located at ul. Modzelewskiego 59.
