Kyiv Region Suffers Another Missile-Drone Attack, Officials Say

Kyiv region came under a combined missile and drone strike overnight, killing one child and injuring three others in Vyshhorod while damaging homes and infrastructure across three districts, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported.

Rescuers pulled three survivors from the rubble of a destroyed private house in Vyshhorod: a child with acute stress reaction, a man with shrapnel wounds to the head, and a woman with leg injuries. All are receiving medical care. The body of another child was recovered from the same wreckage, and debris removal continues.

The strike damaged or destroyed private homes in Vyshhorod district, sparking fires in a residential building and garages and shattering windows. In Bucha district, three private houses, 11 vehicles, and two warehouses were damaged, and a fire broke out. Infrastructure facilities in Bucha, Vyshhorod, and Obukhiv districts were also hit.

The attack follows a pattern of repeated Russian strikes on the region surrounding the capital. Recent weeks have seen similar barrages targeting residential areas, industrial sites, and critical infrastructure in these same districts, causing civilian casualties and widespread damage. Emergency services are assisting the injured and clearing debris, while authorities offered condolences to the family of the deceased child.
