The combination of sustained low-level flight and high maneuverability makes the drone-missile targets exceptionally difficult for radar operators and spotters to detect, fix, and shoot down in time. By hugging the ground, the system can exploit terrain clutter and line-of-sight limits, shrinking the distance at which air defenses can establish a reliable track.

If the enemy begins applying this low-altitude profile systematically, Ukrainian air-defense crews could have only a few minutes to confirm the target, select the appropriate interceptor or gun system, and decide whether to engage. The compressed reaction window would sharply complicate interception and increase the risk of late or mistaken decisions, leaving little margin for error.
