Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces reported destroying 2,219 enemy targets in a single day, including 210 Russian personnel killed, 49 drone launch sites, 30 electronic warfare assets, and 318 enemy UAVs.

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck or destroyed 2,219 Russian targets in a single day, the force reported on September 9. The daily tally includes 483 Russian personnel, of whom 210 were killed, 49 drone launch sites, 30 radar, electronic warfare, electronic intelligence and communications assets, 184 vehicles, 12 artillery systems, and 318 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles — categorized as copter-type, fixed-wing "Kryl" (Wing), Shahed, and Geran drones.

Since September 1, SBS units have hit 16,201 enemy targets, including 3,289 personnel, according to the cumulative figures released by the force. The Unmanned Systems Forces, established as a separate branch of Ukraine's armed forces in 2024, coordinate drone operations across the front lines and have become a primary instrument for degrading Russian reconnaissance and strike capabilities.

The September 8 report reflects an intensified tempo of drone-on-drone engagements and deep-strikes against Russian logistics and electronic-warfare nodes. Ukrainian officials have previously stated that systematic destruction of launch sites and EW equipment aims to reduce the intensity of Russian Shahed and Geran attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
