Ukrainian Forces Hit Russian Drone Facility, Command Post, and River Crossing in Overnight Strikes

Published Updated

On October 2 and the night of October 3, 2026, Ukrainian defense forces struck a strike drone launch site in Donetsk, a command post in Belgorod Oblast, a river crossing over the Mokri Yaly River, a repair base in Kherson Oblast, and a materiel depot in Belgorod Oblast.

Ukrainian defense forces conducted a series of precision strikes against key Russian military installations on October 2 and during the night of October 3, 2026, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Donetsk area of Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian units destroyed a facility used for the storage, preparation, and launch of strike unmanned aerial vehicles. The General Staff noted that such sites are priority targets, and their systematic neutralization aims to degrade the Russian army’s capacity to deploy strike drones against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.

In Novaya Tavolzhanka, Belgorod Oblast, a Russian command post was struck. Meanwhile, near Novoocheretuvate in Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian forces hit a crossing point over the Mokri Yaly River.

Additional strikes targeted a Russian repair base near Hromivka in Kherson Oblast and a materiel depot near Voznesenivka in Belgorod Oblast. The General Staff emphasized that operations against key Russian targets are ongoing.
