Five Wounded, Including Two Children, as Russian Strikes Damage 23 Sites Across Kyiv Region

Russian forces struck six districts of Kyiv region overnight, wounding five civilians — among them two children — and damaging 23 locations, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration said Thursday. The attacks hit residential areas, a school, warehouses, and production facilities across Fastiv, Bucha, Vyshhorod, Brovary, Obukhiv, and Boryspil districts.

Fastiv district sustained the heaviest damage, with seven private homes, a production-warehouse building, and three vehicles affected. In Vyshhorod, an educational institution was hit, while Brovary reported damage to a warehouse and two homes. Obukhiv recorded three damaged homes and three vehicles, Boryspil a production facility, and Bucha one private household. Emergency services are assessing the full extent and assisting residents.

The strikes continue a sustained campaign targeting the region surrounding the capital. Since early September, repeated drone and missile barrages have killed and wounded civilians, damaged dozens of sites, and disrupted critical infrastructure. Authorities again urged residents to take air raid alerts seriously and seek shelter immediately. The pattern of overnight attacks on civilian and economic targets reflects a broader Russian strategy to pressure population centers and degrade Ukraine's rear logistics.
