Officers conducted 1,209 searches across the country, eliminating 42 clandestine drug laboratories, 134 warehouses containing finished narcotics, and shutting down 56 drug shops that supplied drugs to consumers.
The raids removed more than one ton of finished narcotics and roughly 22 tons of precursor chemicals from illegal circulation. Precursors are chemicals used to manufacture synthetic drugs, and their seizure alongside finished product indicates an effort to strike both the inputs used to make narcotics and the retail channels that distribute them.
The operation covered multiple stages of the narcotics supply chain, from production sites and bulk storage to points of sale. Ukrainian authorities presented the action as a coordinated nationwide move against organized drug infrastructure, but did not immediately release information about arrests, suspects, or the precise timing of individual raids.
