Ukrainian long-range strike systems hit a major Russian oil industry enterprise and a military logistics facility in the Moscow region overnight, inflicting damage estimated at billions of dollars to infrastructure supporting Moscow's war effort. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said the operation was carried out jointly with the Special Operations Forces (SSO), the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR), the State Border Guard Service (SBS), and the State Security Administration (SZR).
A suite of Ukrainian-developed drones was employed, including the FP-1, RZ-100, MICH-2000, Palianytsia, Vendetta, Liutyi, Bars, Flamingo, Sichen, and Pelican platforms. The SBU emphasized the precision of the strikes and thanked the personnel involved.
In parallel, sanctions were applied to an enterprise in the Voronezh region. Ukrainian officials reiterated that Moscow should cease its war and pursue peace rather than expand air defenses at the expense of other regions. De-escalation proposals covering energy security and food security remain on the table, pending political will from the Russian leadership. Ukraine thanked international partners who reinforce its long-range capabilities and complement kinetic action with sanctions pressure.
