U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said a roadmap to restart negotiations between Russia and Ukraine could be drafted within the next few weeks. “I do not want to evaluate the talks as good or bad, productive or unproductive, except that they were substantive – new ideas were discussed, because this is a very complex conflict,” Rubio said.
He added that significant progress toward compromises between Kyiv and Moscow has not yet materialized. The discussions, which he described as substantive, covered a range of new proposals but stopped short of producing concrete agreements.
