A Territorial Recruitment Center employee in Lviv attacked a woman who tried to stop him from breaking down an apartment entrance, leading to a police investigation into an officer who witnessed the incident.

In Lviv, a Territorial Recruitment Center (TCK) employee physically assaulted a woman who blocked his attempt to force entry into an apartment building, prompting a police probe.

The regional TCK said a man had fled into the building to avoid a draft notice; the woman allegedly prevented servicemen from entering and sprayed them with pepper spray. The center warned the public “not to draw conclusions based on isolated video fragments.”

Lviv police announced an internal investigation into a police officer who observed the TCK serviceman forcibly drag and knock the woman down during the mobilization attempt.

The incident underscores growing tensions around Ukraine’s ongoing mobilization drive, with confrontations between recruitment officials and civilians increasing in western regions.

Authorities have not released further details, and the investigation remains ongoing.
