A Ukrainian monitoring channel warns that a large-scale Russian attack may unfold overnight, with four Tu-160 bombers in the air, Tu-95 flights expected after midnight, and the risk of ballistic-missile and jet-powered drone strikes.

A Ukrainian monitoring channel has warned that a large-scale Russian strike is expected through the night. In a short update, the author wrote, "I want to be wrong, but everything points to it," adding that they would remain online if the assault began.

As of the time of posting, four Tu-160 strategic bombers were reported airborne. The channel also said Tu-95 bomber flights are expected after midnight. These long-range aircraft are mainstays of Russia’s strategic aviation and are frequently used to carry and launch cruise missiles during coordinated attacks on Ukraine.

The alert highlighted the risk of ballistic-missile launches at any point during the night. In addition, the author said jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles would carry out attacks overnight. Ballistic strikes can leave minimal warning time, increasing the danger of such a combined assault.

The simultaneous use of strategic bombers, ballistic missiles, and drones pointed to the possibility of a coordinated, large-scale assault. The channel's operator pledged to keep followers updated throughout the night if the strikes began.
