Ukrainian Forces Nearly Clear Orikhiv and Novodanilivka as Russian Assaults Persist on Multiple Axes

Ukrainian troops have almost fully secured Orikhiv and Novodanilivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, leaving only a single small Russian group in the latter, while Russian forces continue offensive operations aimed at encircling Orikhiv despite heavy losses.

In Mala Tokmachka, Ukrainian units hold firm control of the settlement, though Russian assaults persist from the direction of Novopokrovka. One Russian formation has occupied a local correctional colony, with two additional small detachments positioned on the village's eastern and northeastern fringes.

Meanwhile, Russian offensive efforts are underway from Mali Shcherbaky and Shcherbaky toward Novopavlivka, and Russian infantry has been detected in forested areas northwest of Nesterianka. Ukrainian defenders are repelling attacks across all sectors.

The latest frontline report indicates a continuation of the pattern observed in recent weeks, where Russian units have used Novodanilivka as a corridor for probes toward Orikhiv and staged propaganda displays there, while launching small-unit infiltrations from Mala Tokmachka and the Shcherbaky area. Despite sustained pressure, Ukrainian lines have held, degrading Russian manpower without yielding a significant foothold.
