Ukrainian Forces Contain Russian Advances Near Orikhiv as Flanking Pressure Mounts

Ukrainian forces have turned Orikhiv into a deadlock for Russian infantry, with frontline troops neutralizing every assault group that attempts to enter the city. According to a field report from the Orikhiv sector, the number of Russian personnel inside the urban area has not increased because each infiltrating unit is immediately destroyed.

However, the surrounding sector has sharply escalated. Russian units are seeping chaotically from Shcherbaky toward Novopavlivka, pressing from Nesterianka between Novoandriivka and Orikhiv, and advancing from Robotyne through Novodanylivka as well as from Mala Tokmachka toward the eastern outskirts of Orikhiv. Previous reports have documented Russian forces using Novodanylivka as a corridor for small-unit probes toward Orikhiv and pressing into eastern Mala Tokmachka, a pattern that continues in the current escalation.

In the Mali Shcherbaky area the situation remains difficult, with occupiers penetrating as far as Novoyaklivka and stretching Ukrainian defenses thin. The only relatively quiet segment is Stepnohirsk, where Russian troops attempt to use familiar trails but have achieved no success.

Overall, neither side holds the initiative on this axis, and the enemy has not managed to establish a critical foothold in dangerous proportions. The report, attributed to the "Guys from Bamba" unit, indicates a continued stalemate with localized Russian probing attacks.
