Ukrainian Defense Forces Hit Multiple Russian Military Targets, General Staff Says

Ukrainian defense forces struck a series of Russian military targets on 6 September and during the night of 6–7 September, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported. The strikes targeted infrastructure and positions across temporarily occupied Crimea, Luhansk Oblast, and Zaporizhzhia Oblast, according to the update.

In Crimea, Ukrainian forces damaged a railway bridge over the Pivnichno-Krymskyi (North Crimean) Canal near Vladyslavivka, a route Russian troops use for military logistics. The bridge crosses a key waterway that connects the occupied peninsula to the Ukrainian mainland, making the link a recurring target in Kyiv’s campaign to disrupt Russian supply lines.

Ukrainian strikes also hit Russian command posts in Nyzhniy Naholchyk and Dovzhanske in Luhansk Oblast, and in Azovske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Additional targets included an automated technical reconnaissance post designated “Hrenader” in Perekop, Crimea, and an ammunition depot near Teple in Luhansk Oblast.

The General Staff did not specify the weapons or units used in the strikes, nor did it report casualties.
