Ukraine has obtained 50 million euros from the Council of Europe Development Bank and the Italian government to fund housing certificates for families whose homes were destroyed by Russian aggression.
Ukraine has secured 50 million euros from the Council of Europe Development Bank and the Italian government to compensate for housing destroyed during the war, Prime Minister Serhiy Korytsky announced.
The funds will be channeled into housing certificates under the "eRestoration" program, providing new homes for approximately 2,200 Ukrainian families who lost their dwellings due to Russian aggression.
This tranche represents the first installment of an additional 100 million euros pledged under the HOME project, agreed upon by partners during the URC-2026 conference in Gdansk.
To date, the HOME project has already delivered 200 million euros to Ukraine, financing more than 6,000 housing certificates.
Korytsky thanked the CEB and the Italian government for their crucial support to Ukrainian families displaced by the war.
