Russian Forces Stage Flag-Raising Footage in Novoandriivka and Infiltrate Druzhkivka Axis

A frontline Donbas report says Russian assault groups filmed staged flag-raising videos in Novoandriivka after consolidating near Novomykolaivka, while on the Druzhkivka axis small teams are infiltrating Ukrainian lines to hunt drone operators and suppress UAV activity, continuing earlier small-unit probing around the same sector.

Russian assault groups have filmed staged flag-raising videos in Novoandriivka, raising banners in positions their troops entered immediately after consolidating near Novomykolaivka, according to a frontline Donbas source. The footage appears intended to portray a territorial gain even though the display was staged, the source suggested.

On the Druzhkivka axis, the same account says Moscow’s forces are using small-team infiltration tactics. Groups are pushing deep into Ukrainian defensive lines to locate unmanned aerial vehicle operators and reduce the density of drone activity. The apparent aim is to clear a path for follow-on assault units to advance and entrench.

The episodes extend a pattern of small-unit probing reported earlier in the sector. A recent account described Russian teams of two to three soldiers slipping into areas around Novomykolaivka and Torske, adding pressure to Ukrainian defenses already strained by FPV drones and guided bombs. Some infiltrators were reportedly intercepted with small arms, yet the continued tactics suggest Russian commanders are trying to degrade Ukrainian reconnaissance and suppress strike drones ahead of larger pushes.
