Russian Forces Intensify Assaults Around Orikhiv and Novodanylivka, Claim Sabotage-Group Infiltration

Russian forces have intensified their offensive activity on a sector of the Zaporizhzhia front, distributing videos from Novodanylivka and Orikhiv to publicize the presence of assault troops and the reported infiltration of sabotage and reconnaissance groups into southeastern Orikhiv. The footage appears intended to suggest that Russian units have pushed into the town, but it does not confirm a sustained foothold.

At the same time, Russian command has sharply stepped up assault attempts near Mala Tokmachka and around Novodanylivka, the report says. These efforts consist largely of small-group sorties and infiltration attempts rather than broad territorial capture.

The three settlements lie along the southern Zaporizhzhia axis. Despite the limited scale of the incursions, the situation remains extremely tense because Russian troops are present in all three settlements in some form. Observers emphasize that isolated movements by small groups do not prove that Russian forces have consolidated or fully entrenched themselves in the area.
