Opendy has introduced a smart-link service that automatically opens links in users' native apps or standard browsers, bypassing in-app browsers in Telegram and other platforms to improve conversions.
Opendy is a smart-link service that automatically determines where to open a link — inside a relevant native app such as YouTube, TikTok, or Amazon, where the user is already authenticated, or in a standard mobile browser. The service is designed to bypass the embedded browsers that social networks and other apps use to keep traffic within their own environments.
The company demonstrated the difference with two example links. Opening https://opendy.io/ inside Telegram’s built-in browser showed a page where no stored purchase data was available, which the company said typically ends with the user closing the tab. The second link, https://opendy.io/tgbiz, routed the same destination through a standard browser, avoiding embedded browsers entirely.
