Kyiv Museums Offer Free Entry on Select Dates in Late September

Kyiv residents and visitors will have the opportunity to visit multiple museums free of charge during the final week of September, according to an announcement from local cultural authorities.

The schedule begins on September 24 with free entry to the Taras Shevchenko House-Museum and the Mykhailo Hrushevsky Museum. On September 25, the Ivan Honchar Museum and the Museum of Hetmanship open their doors without charge. September 27 covers the memorial museums of Pavlo Tychyna, Maksym Rylsky, and Maria Zankovetska.

The program continues September 28 at the Museum of Theater, Music and Cinema Arts of Ukraine and the Viktor Kosenko Memorial Apartment. The War Museum offers free admission on September 29, while September 30 covers the National Museum of History of Ukraine, its Treasury, and the Museum of Book and Printing.

Officials clarified that the waiver applies only to general admission; fees may still apply for guided tours, special exhibitions, or other programmed events at each institution.
