Business Digest: Billion-Revenue Micro-Firms, Epicentr Leaves Odesa, Russian Strikes on Kyiv Logistics, Palantir Surveillance

A Ukrainian business digest highlights economic and security developments, from billion-revenue micro-firms and retail withdrawals to Russian strikes on supply chains and a newly unveiled Palantir surveillance platform.

According to a study, 22 Ukrainian companies report billion-level revenue while employing fewer than three people, pointing to a group of small but high-turnover businesses in the economy.

Retail chain Epicentr is pulling out of Odesa, and its last store in the city will close next week. At the same time, Russia carried out mass strikes against large logistics complexes, warehouses and supermarket networks in Kyiv region, destroying goods and disrupting distribution. In response, supermarket chains want to change payment terms so manufacturers bear the cost of losses from destroyed inventory.

Ukrainians are advised to keep a food stock of at least two weeks at home, warning that product shortages could intensify. Separately, Palantir has presented a system for total surveillance.
